The Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational is a major plein air art event held in Laguna Beach, California, and organized by the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA). The 2025 invitational marks its 28th year and will take place from October 3 to October 11, 2026. This festival features 30 of the nation’s top award-winning plein air artists who compete, demonstrate, and display their works outdoors throughout Laguna Beach, turning the city into a vibrant open-air studio.
