Brush Creek Art Walk

Brush Creek Art Walk returns in mid-September 2026 for its 15th Annual weekend of outdoor painting, building on the energy of our 2024 and 2025 celebrations along Kansas City’s Brush Creek corridor. Over the course of three days, artists will again spread out across our zone map to participate in multiple $500 Purchase Award Quick Paint events, inviting the public to watch paintings come to life in real time. Following the event, completed works will be exhibited at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center and then shared with additional gallery partners, with all pieces available for purchase online to support our mission to “Buy the Art, Save the Arts.” With strong community sponsorships, an ever-growing roster of talented painters, and more opportunities than ever to collect original local art, the 15th Annual BCAW2026 promises to be Kansas City’s premier outdoor painting competition once again.
