Cape Ann Plein Air Festival

Cape Ann Plein Air is a weeklong celebration in the birthplace of plein air painting in America. 35 juried artists from around the world will compete for over $22,000 in prize money. Cape Ann Plein Air remains true to its mission: to elevate plein air painting locally and nationally while honoring Cape Ann’s rich past. Involving local artists as well, and supporting local businesses, CAPA remains the top plein air festival in the Northeast.
